Nascido em 1953, em Filad\u00e9lfia, cidade rica numa cultura afro-americana libert\u00e1ria, reivindicativa e art\u00edstica, teve uma passagem marcante pela Unit Core Orchestra e pela Sound Vision Orchestra, do lend\u00e1rio Cecil Taylor, na qual acompanhou muitos outros nomes, como Alan Silva ou Billy Bang, que fizeram a hist\u00f3ria do jazz mais livre do s\u00e9culo XX.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depois de uma passagem, h\u00e1 v\u00e1rios anos, pelo Seixal Jazz como parte integrante do Odeon Pope Saxophone Choir, e de um primeiro e estrondoso encontro com alguns dos mais activos m\u00fasicos jazz portugueses no ano passado, do qual saiu um disco a editar pela Clean Feed, Elliott Levin regressa a Portugal para uma s\u00e9rie de concertos nos quais o seu sax, flauta e spoken-word se juntam \u00e0 bateria de Marco Franco, \u00e0 guitarra de Lu\u00eds Lopes e ao contrabaixo de Hern\u00e2ni Faustino, para uma sess\u00e3o de improvisa\u00e7\u00e3o livre enquadrada nas din\u00e2micas mais expansivas e fogosas da tradi\u00e7\u00e3o jazz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yn4zRhbNwvo\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yn4zRhbNwvo<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DOGUN<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Duo noruegu\u00eas composto por Dag Erik Andersen (bateria), e Jon Wesseltoft (guitarra), praticante de uma fus\u00e3o entre o noise, na sua vertente mais psicad\u00e9lica, a improvisa\u00e7\u00e3o livre e as din\u00e2micas do free-jazz, dando seguimento a uma corrente que tem precisamente nos pa\u00edses n\u00f3rdicos alguma da sua mais relevante express\u00e3o contempor\u00e2nea.
