Ent\u00e3o \u00e9 nosso dever lembrar os nossos conterr\u00e2neos de como um dos candidatos tramou o Barreiro, a Regi\u00e3o e o Pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como 1\u00ba Ministro, Cavaco Silva prejudicou gravemente toda a Margem Sul ao decretar um aumento de portagens na Ponte 25 de Abril que indignou a grande maioria da popula\u00e7\u00e3o que, justamente, se revoltou. A resposta a t\u00e3o justa indigna\u00e7\u00e3o foi uma feroz repress\u00e3o a lembrar o tempo do Salazar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c9 tamb\u00e9m deste candidato a decis\u00e3o de construir a 2\u00aa Travessia sobre o Estu\u00e1rio do Tejo, entre o Beato e o Montijo, prejudicando gravemente o Pa\u00eds, a Regi\u00e3o e o Barreiro. Porque a construiu s\u00f3 com funcionalidade rodovi\u00e1ria, quando n\u00e3o havia qualquer liga\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria entre o Norte e o Sul de Portugal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porque todos os estudos de Ordenamento do Territ\u00f3rio recomendavam a liga\u00e7\u00e3o Chelas-Barreiro desde logo com funcionalidade ferrovi\u00e1ria, pois era no Barreiro que se iniciava a liga\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria ao Sul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foi tamb\u00e9m deste senhor a decis\u00e3o de construir uma ferrovia pesada na Ponte 25 de Abril. Mais um erro em cima do anterior. Mais um atentado \u00e0 racionalidade e \u00e0 economia. Prejudicou gravemente as acessibilidades e a Mobilidade na \u00c1rea Metropolitana de Lisboa pois a ponte 25 de Abril deveria ser usada exclusivamente para transportes suburbanos em ferrovia ligeira. Para al\u00e9m do atropelo \u00e0 Mobilidade na \u00c1rea Metropolitana e dos milh\u00f5es que gastou, adicionou mais 30 minutos no tempo de viagem de Lisboa para o Sul levando a que o comboio deixasse de ser convidativo para viajar nessa rota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E roubou ao Barreiro a liga\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria com o Sul de Portugal. A partir desta irracional decis\u00e3o o Barreiro passou a ter somente o comboio para Set\u00fabal e Praias do Sado. Para ir para o Sul passou a ter de mudar de comboio no Pinhal Novo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mas as maldades deste candidato para o Barreiro, para a Regi\u00e3o e para o Pa\u00eds ainda n\u00e3o terminaram. J\u00e1 como Presidente da Rep\u00fablica foi um feroz defensor do adiamento da constru\u00e7\u00e3o da 3\u00aa Travessia que agora viria repor a justi\u00e7a e eliminar os erros anteriores no Ordenamento do Territ\u00f3rio e Acessibilidades da \u00c1rea Metropolitana. Mantendo o pa\u00eds balcanizado, sem liga\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria \u00e0 Europa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Talvez os amigos que tinha na Administra\u00e7\u00e3o do Grupo SLN\/BPN e no Conselho de Estado o tivessem j\u00e1 avisado do buraco existente nas contas e dos custos que iriam advir para o pa\u00eds quando tivessem de tapar tal buraco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se o povo do Barreiro e da Regi\u00e3o tiver Mem\u00f3ria este candidato n\u00e3o deveria aqui apanhar nem um voto.
