O sistema de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o apenas contemplava um vencedor absoluto em masculino e outro em feminino \u2013 Um sistema de <em>handicaps<\/em> feito baseado na m\u00e9dia das idades dos elementos das tripula\u00e7\u00f5es ajustava as diferen\u00e7as de escal\u00f5es et\u00e1rios numa tentativa de aproximar competitivamente as diferentes faixas et\u00e1rias em confronto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baseando-se em aproxima\u00e7\u00f5es modelizadas matematicamente pode, em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da constru\u00e7\u00e3o da calculat\u00f3ria, levar a injusti\u00e7as relativas.
