Ecologista \u201cos Verdes\u201d promoveu ontem, na Assembleia da rep\u00fablica, uma <strong>Audi\u00e7\u00e3o P\u00fablica Parlamentar<\/strong> sobre Transportes Ferrovi\u00e1rios, que reuniu perto de uma centena de pessoas representantes de Comiss\u00f5es de Utentes e Movimentos de Defesa de Linhas (Linha do Tua, do Minho, Ramal da Lous\u00e3, Oeste, Sintra e Cascais, Ramal do Sado e da Linha de Beja), Sindicatos e Comiss\u00f5es de Trabalhadores das empresas do sector, Associa\u00e7\u00f5es e entidades ligadas \u00e0 ferrovia, Associa\u00e7\u00f5es profissionais, especialistas, cientistas e autarcas e Associa\u00e7\u00f5es de Ambiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das interven\u00e7\u00f5es proferidas nesta audi\u00e7\u00e3o muito participada, \u201cOs Verdes\u201d destacam-se as seguintes quest\u00f5es e preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>As      pol\u00edticas erradas seguidas nestes \u00faltimos 20 anos que levaram a um      desinvestimento neste sector e ao desmembramento da rede ferrovi\u00e1ria      nacional, ao enceramento de muitos km de linha, ao envelhecimento das      restantes e do material circulante, \u00e0 redu\u00e7\u00e3o do servi\u00e7o prestado \u00e0      popula\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0 redu\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00famero de trabalhadores com repercuss\u00f5es negativas      na efic\u00e1cia e qualidade dos servi\u00e7os prestados\u2026<\/li>\n<li>O n\u00e3o      aproveitamento das potencialidades deste sector, nomeadamente na \u00e1rea      tur\u00edstica e na \u00e1rea do transporte de mercadorias, assim como nas liga\u00e7\u00f5es      com a Europa<\/li>\n<li>A falta      de articula\u00e7\u00e3o com outros sectores de transportes, nomeadamente      rodovi\u00e1rio, mar\u00edtimo e a\u00e9reo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foi ainda sublinhada e un\u00e2nime uma falta de estrat\u00e9gia para que este sector venha a desempenhar o papel estruturante que pode e deve assumir no desenvolvimento do pa\u00eds e no servi\u00e7o prestado \u00e0s popula\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ficou ainda registada a preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o de muitos participantes com a privatiza\u00e7\u00e3o anunciada dos transportes ferrovi\u00e1rios e com a n\u00e3o clarifica\u00e7\u00e3o do Governo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 possibilidade de encerramento de mais linhas e servi\u00e7os, nomeadamente no que diz respeito a quest\u00f5es pendentes, tais como \u00e9 o caso da Linha do Tua, Corgo, T\u00e2mega, Douro, do Ramal da Lousa, Ramal do Sado, Oeste, Beja, etc\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por parte de \u201cOs Verdes\u201d e do seu Grupo Parlamentar, ficou o compromisso de continuar a luta fora e dentro da Assembleia da Rep\u00fablica, em defesa do investimento no transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio, transporte que consideram ter todas as vantagens econ\u00f3micas, sociais, ambientais e culturais, e de apresentarem em breve uma proposta legislativa para elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de um Plano Nacional para este sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u201cOs
