L\u00e1 fora chovia copiosamente, como se do c\u00e9u ca\u00edssem l\u00e1grimas de tristeza. Decidi escrever e fazer lembrar em poucas palavras, quem foi o Pintor, o Poeta, o Escultor, amante da Antropologia e Etnologia, mas, principalmente, amava a natureza, a humanidade e todos quantos com ele conviviam.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Em 6 de Junho de 1936, nasceu em MATALANA (prov\u00edncia de Maputo).<\/p>\n

Em 1960 tornou-se artista profissional.<\/p>\n

No per\u00edodo colonial foi preso pela PIDE (pol\u00edcia pol\u00edtica) juntamente com os poetas Jos\u00e9 Craveirinha, Rui Nogar e outros cidad\u00e3os. Julgado dois anos depois e sem culpa formada (o que era comum) \u00e9 julgado, absolvido e libertado.<\/p>\n

Aderiu \u00e0 FRELIMO, impulsionou diversos projectos culturais, colaborou intensamente com a UNICEF em ac\u00e7\u00f5es culturais direccionadas \u00e0 crian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Um imenso rol de pa\u00edses de todo o Mundo guarda obras suas.<\/p>\n

Est\u00e3o presentes nas suas obras o \u201cpap\u00e3o\u201d, o povo e a crian\u00e7a mas em grande parte delas \u00e9 a MULHER MO\u00c7AMBICANA que est\u00e1 em destaque e dele guardo esta frase: \u201c \u2026N\u00e3o estou desiludido com a mulher com quem casei, ela \u00e9 superior a mim \u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

MALANGATANA NGWENYA<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o teve ber\u00e7o, nem brinquedo<\/p>\n

Dormiu na esteira, no ch\u00e3o<\/p>\n

E de noite sentia medo<\/p>\n

Que ali chegasse o \u201cpap\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n

Em moleque, criado de meninos<\/p>\n

Apanha bolas e pastor<\/p>\n

Aprendiz de \u201cnyamossoro\u201d<\/p>\n

Ansiava um Mundo melhor<\/p>\n

Trazia em si a Arte, em cada poro-<\/p>\n

Foi em Matalana que nasceu<\/p>\n

E experimentou a arte de pintar<\/p>\n

Desenhou e fez-se escultor<\/p>\n

Dedicou-se \u00e0 vida com trabalho<\/p>\n

E deixou nele todo o seu amor.<\/p>\n

Hoje cidad\u00e3o do Mundo<\/p>\n

Venerado em toda a parte<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o s\u00f3 pelo HOMEM que \u00e9<\/p>\n

Mas tamb\u00e9m pela sua ARTE.<\/p>\n
