Uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de cumplicidade entre duas mulheres, que sofrem de defici\u00eancias f\u00edsicas (surdez e cegueira), e procuram combater as dificuldades de integra\u00e7\u00e3o dos deficientes na sociedade capitalista norte-americana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Helen Keller perdeu a vis\u00e3o e a audi\u00e7\u00e3o aos 19 meses de idade, e apenas aos 7 anos come\u00e7ou a ganhar a sua autonomia, com a chegada da sua professora \u2013 tamb\u00e9m invisual. Assim, Helen Keller tornar-se-ia num dos maiores exemplos de supera\u00e7\u00e3o, e a maior refer\u00eancia, no Mundo, na luta pelos direitos das pessoas com defici\u00eancias. Jornalista, fil\u00f3sofa e activista pol\u00edtica, Helen Keller \u00e9, a par de Anne Sullivan, sin\u00f3nimo da luta pela inclus\u00e3o social, do combate ao isolamento e da protec\u00e7\u00e3o da dignidade humana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Num per\u00edodo de enormes diferen\u00e7as sociais, o papel unificador dos educadores revela-se fundamental. Por essa raz\u00e3o pretendemos\u00a0reunir v\u00e1rias<strong> escolas do distrito de Lisboa<\/strong>\u00a0em torno de um evento que poder\u00e1 ser, simultaneamente, um dia de partilha, de inclus\u00e3o e de desmistifica\u00e7\u00e3o das defici\u00eancias f\u00edsicas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Queremos promover tamb\u00e9m a partilha de hist\u00f3rias de vida das crian\u00e7as ligadas \u00e0s v\u00e1rias institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino especial de Lisboa. Aqui, os alunos poder\u00e3o conhecer a enorme evolu\u00e7\u00e3o que tem decorrido ao longo do s\u00e9culo XX, no que diz respeito ao ensino especial.
