Trata-se da 4\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o de um desafio \u00e0 escala europeia \u2013 reconhecido em 2013 com o Pr\u00e9mio CIVITAS da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia \u2013, no qual as cidades participantes, representadas por equipas constitu\u00eddas pelos seus habitantes, competem entre si na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da bicicleta como transporte urbano di\u00e1rio.
