XVI<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Um retrato de Alhos Vedros ao tempo do foral, evidenciando a sua import\u00e2ncia no contexto do antigo concelho de Ribatejo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O territ\u00f3rio (a vila e o termo), as gentes (demografia, grupos sociais, individualidades), a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o administrativa (verea\u00e7\u00e3o, of\u00edcios concelhios, jurisdi\u00e7\u00e3o local), a comenda de Alhos Vedros da Ordem de Santiago, aspetos da vida quotidiana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15:30h \u2013 Ant\u00f3nio Ventura<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&#8220;Alhos Vedros no Contexto da Margem Esquerda do Estu\u00e1rio do Tejo: Uma Perspetiva Econ\u00f3mica S\u00e9culos XIV-XIX&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O antigo concelho de Alhos Vedros ocupava um extenso territ\u00f3rio desde Sarilhos Pequenos at\u00e9 pr\u00f3ximo de Coina, localiza\u00e7\u00e3o privilegiada para abastecimento da cidade de Lisboa naquilo que a capital tanto precisava: sal, vinho, lenha, carv\u00e3o e madeira, moagem e panifica\u00e7\u00e3o e outros produtos com o rio relacionados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contudo, a sua desintegra\u00e7\u00e3o em novos concelhos, a progressiva escassez de alguns produtos e o afastamento do &#8220;centro de gravidade&#8221; para novos locais, nomeadamente a Moita, contribu\u00edram decisivamente para o seu decl\u00ednio e extin\u00e7\u00e3o em meados do s\u00e9c.
